You hear it. You get it. But something stops you.
Yes you post. You post all the blumming time. Far too much of your time is spent posting and scrolling for nothing but more disappointment.
You thought you’d be teaching groups by now. You thought you’d have that consistent income. You want to be leaving the day job behind.

You see other people’s posts. You see their businesses thriving and you just want a piece of that.
What if within with a month you could feel confident posting on Social media. Imagine being more clear about what to say and how to say it. What if you stopped wasting so much time and you knew that actually potential clients were listening. Imagine being comfortable being seen, not just a photo of you but your true views and words. For months I’ve been jotting ideas down for this course. I thought I might do a video course but then my spark died out. It’s not really how I like to work. I like to be interactive and connect with people.
If one thing positive business wise has come out of this pandemic it’s getting comfortable working remotely with video call tech. And that’s when my notes became a proper course. So who am I? I’m Abby Watson, a Hypnobirthing teacher from West Yorkshire. I set up my Hypnobirthing business 5 years ago after leaving my job as a secondary school teacher. I knew zero about marketing, to be honest I had no idea I needed to. Through a lot of trial and error and then some pretty good businesss courses and ££££ on coaching I started making a consistent living from this thing all whilst being home with my babies. Since 2017 I’ve been mentoring and supporting other Hypnobirthing teachers and I’ve created and sold a course solely through developing relationships on social media.

In this course I will teach you step by step how to be seen by the people you want to see your stuff (not just your aunty Jane and your best friend), develop your confidence in knowing what to post and leave you with new habits that will be with you for your business’ life.
So what does this involve?
Starting on Monday 31st August there will be a weekly group zoom call for 4 weeks lasting around 1-1.5 hours. These will take place Monday evening 7.30pm (GMT) As well as this there will be 3 weekly challenges that put into action what you’ve learnt on the calls. A closed Facebook group will be where we hang out receiving support for 6 weeks in total. Expect extra live videos, loving support and a team of cheerleaders (me and the other members)

We will cover:
Week 1: Laying the foundations- knowing who and why
In the first week you will be able to narrow down who you are speaking to and what makes her tick. You’ll reflect on why it’s so important that you overcome the hurdles that you face for both her and you and we will get started getting out there.
Week 2: You and Your story
You are your business, you are what makes it unique. You will see what she needs to hear and see from you and you’ll start doing it. You’ll get used to doing this in different ways so that your posts are more than ‘book my course’ posts.
Week 3: Connecting with her story and becoming her expert
Get over the term expert because actually you only need to know more than her. You’ll learn how to stop the scroll and grab her attention. You’ll become the one she wants to hear from.
Week 4: Selling your course and creating Your visibility plan
You’ll get over the cringy word ‘Selling’. If your going to make bookings you have to get comfortable with selling. You’ll create a visibility plan that means you are making better use of your time so that social media doesn’t feel like a fruitless chore.
Of course with this being a live course we will cover what you all need at the time. Questions can be asked and content will be shared. If i know it, I’ll share it.

Doing it as a group session is excellent because everyone is brain storming together and she gets you thinking about things that have never cropped up before. Questions that you might have…
How much time will I need?
I know we are busy right now with our families so I’ve designed this program to take this into account. You’ll need to be available for our weekly group call. (Monday 7.30pm starting on the 31st August) If you’ve still got small people around, feel free to just mute yourself.
In addition to that 30 minutes at least 3 times a week is a good amount of time to be seen. If you got more than that, fab!
I’m taking a bit of break from teaching right now, will this be a bad time to do it?
This will be perfect. Yes you’re not bothered about getting bookings right now but you want to eventually. Don’t let things go stagnant. Use this time to build your following, make new habits and build relationships, ready to hit the ground running.
I’m really not sure I could be one of those people who posts about themselves a lot.
Being visible doesn’t mean sharing your inner most secrets. It means letting your potential clients hear about your courses. It’s very useful that they get to know you along the way but you are very much in control of how you do this.
I’m not really into Facebook. I mostly post on Instagram.
